What is an International Driving Permit?

An International Driving Permit is a translation of your national driving license. The IDP allows motorists to drive vehicles in foreign countries. You must always have your IDP along with your national license at all times. 

Requirements for an International Driving Permit:

1) Two Passport sized pictures (white background) or Passport Photos Available at the office for $40

2) A Trinidad & Tobago Driver’s Permit

3) Cost: $200 TTD

If you are requesting a renewal from outside of Trinidad, you would need to send us an email directly for instructions.
